SRAM has issued a voluntary recall of select RockShox Lyrik and RockShox Yari front suspension bicycle forks because they can fatigue prematurely and break, which may cause the rider to lose control and fall.
The recall specifically involves 29-inch Boost forks, model year 2019, within the serial number range of 02T95514009 through 08T96214665 AND having a fork lower with a casting code of “18” and “O” or “19” and “A”.
The forks were sold as aftermarket equipment and as original equipment on the following mountain bicycle brands and models:

SRAM's recall notice, issued in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), indicates about 920 affected units in the U.S. and Canada, and no reports of incidents.
