Description

The Granfondo GF01 Ultegra Di2 brings together a sweet black & white paint job with a carbon fiber frame to offer a new level of comfort while on long rides. Spec'd with Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting and a Fizik saddle you can be confident that you will get an accurate and consistent shift every time.

Trek's Domane 5.2 is a race-bred bike that is suitable for all-day rides. This bike features a lightweight carbon frame and fork, giving it great handling. The vibration-reducing insert in the frame and the endurance geometry mean you'll be fresh at the end, even after a long day of riding. Shimano's precise Ultegra components make up the drivetrain, and parts from Bontrager add performance. A Bontrager tubeless-ready wheelset is the finishing touch.

Optimized ride qualities in carbon products thanks to BMC's Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC).

With a neat combination of different carbon fibers and their alignment, and by applying stepped tube profiles, we achieve increased vertical compliance while maintaining high levels of lateral and torsional stiffness. The TCC zones on the frame, fork and seatpost boost the comfort rating noticeably. TCC significantly improves the ride experience by slowing the onset of rider fatigue and through precision handling and efficient power transmission.

500 Series OCLV: Each level of OCLV offers the best ride for the money, thanks to an optimal balance of areal weight, stiffness, and compliance. 500 Series OCLV achieves a superb balance of light weight, strength, and stiffness that's perfectly suited to the sophisticated frame technologies that distinguish Trek frames.

IsoSpeed Decoupler: At the core of Domane’s comfort technology is the IsoSpeed decoupler, the result of an 18-month study of how a racing bike performs over rough roads, and how that performance affects the rider. Trek engineers designed a decoupler that allows the seat tube to rotate independently from the top-tube-to-seatstay junction, increasing vertical compliance to twice that of our nearest competitor, without compromising pedaling efficiency. Result: you can ride harder, longer.

Ride Tuned Seatmast: Our Ride Tuned seatmast is the lightest, most comfortable solution for day-in, day-out performance and comfort. The no-cut design eliminates traditional seatpost clamping forces, so we can use less material at the seat tube junction, resulting in a lighter frame. Most seatmast systems have to be cut, leaving little or no room for adjustability. Our Ride Tuned seatmast system has more than 10cm of adjustment, making it the most adjustable system on the market.

Electronic Drivetrain Integration: Specific cable stops and proprietary seat tube battery mount or bottom bracket battery mount allow for a perfect interface with the industry-leading electronic drivetrain systems without a single zip tie or strip of tape. It’s the most seamless component integration in the industry. Easily replace the bottom bracket cable stop with a slick battery mount, or use an internal battery for the cleanest and lightest system.

BB90: BB90 is the widest bottom bracket available on a road bike. This Trek-exclusive carbon BB makes the frame lighter, stiffer, and quicker to accelerate. BB90 eliminates the need for extra inserts and parts in the bottom bracket/frame junction. Fewer parts mean a lighter frame. And a lighter frame means a faster ride.

E2 Head Tube and Fork: Our E2 head tube tapers from a 1.5" lower bearing to a 1-1/8" upper bearing, and is wider side to side than front to back. This asymmetric steering system minimizes weight while maximizing power transfer and keeping the fork stiffer under cornering loads. Result: a more powerful and confident ride.

E2 Asymmetric Steerer: A fork has two competing directives: provide lateral rigidity for precise cornering, and offer vertical compliance to absorb road vibration. Trek’s full-carbon E2 asymmetric fork/steering tube is the first steerer specifically shaped to manage both. The fork is wider side-to-side to stiffen under cornering load, narrower front to back for comfort.

3S Integrated Chain Keeper: Our 3S chain keeper is integrated directly into the bike frame. It's an elegant solution that provides flawless shifting even on rough roads and under heavy loads. No more standing on the side of the road, covered in grease, unwedging your dropped chain as competitors race by.
