Conceived to display the bike (and its accessories) at home in a way that is both spectacular and functional, Bike Shelf is a new take on the book-shelf concept, turning it into a stage. It is a natural oak veneered organiser, supported by a stable solid wood frame, with lines so clean and minimal that they easily adapt to every type of ambience, with a surprising climax detail: the clothes rack – shaped as a handlebar – is in fact a LED lamp, that you can switch on and off with a touch sensor. And when evening comes, it casts an evocative light on your bike frame.
Bike Shelf has a modular structure. On the base you can park all kinds of bicycles, thanks to a stainless steel universal clamp that accommodates any wheel and handlebar width; in the lower compartments, equipped with one spacious drawer, you can organize everything you need to go cycling, whether it is an urban ride or a mountain bike trip; if you need more storage space, you can add one or two wooden drawers, provided with partitions.
And if you still need more space, you can add the Side Unit, that comes with four shelves, to be customised according to your needs. The stainless steel clothes rack comes with two leather hooks to hang jackets or accessories; moreover, Bike Shelf is equipped with eight solid oakwood poles that you can arrange as you please in the holes on the side panel. Dedicated to those who want to use it to do a bit of bike maintenance, a black rubber mat, stains and scratches-proof, is included.
Designed to guarantee the easiest assembly, Bike Shelf is available in two oakwood shades: a luminous, matte natural finish and a dark, elegant wenge tinted shade.
