Bontrager XR3 Expert

The 2016 Bontrager XR3 Expert is a mid-range mountain bike tire. Its center tread is an open one, offering excellent mud clearing and enough bite to really rip the straights; shoulder knobs are more closely packed, providing predictable breakaway and confidence in the corners. Construction is tough, Bontrager's Inner Strength casing providing excellent puncture protection without stiffness. The XR3 is tubeless ready, a challenging installation but a solid ride once on.
