Silca is a venerable Italian bike pump and tool manufacturer. The company makes quality tools for shop, home and on-bike kit, and pumps from frame fit to floor. Silca products can be found in quality bike shops anywhere in the world.

From its beginnings in 1917, Silca has been out front of the industry its entire century. Incorporated gauges, to high-pressure frame pumps, to lightweight plastics back in the dawn of plastic, to cartridge valves for controlled output, the company has innnovated with the best of them. Today the range includes pumps ranging from tiny pocket-sized pumps to gorgeous stainless-barrelled floor pumps, with adapters and miscellany for special-purpose wheelsets and a number of tool kits.

The pumps are Silca's signature line. The SuperPista looks almost identical to the Pistas of long ago, with completely modern materials, extraordinary pressure capacities, and smooth function. The frame pumps are recently updated, with new works providing even swifter inflation, and the same old-school looks. Tiny pocket pumps are available for riders bereft of a pump peg.

Tools are precision, a good addition to any mechanic's collection: T-handle wrenches, sockets, torque wrenches and hex. Silca also makes the Italian Army Knife, a terrific pocket tool for the cyclist.
