Ryders are an eyewear company originating in Vancouver's North Shore mountain bike scene. The company makes sunglasses and goggles for cycling and snow sport, as well as casual wear, and has become renowned for producing high quality optics at an affordable price.

In 1986 Brent Martin was living in Whistler, on his way to becoming the first Canadian Mountain Bike Champion. He and his friends needed good performance sunglasses for all of their active pursuits but their options were limited. Nothing fit their needs and budget. So, goaded on by his friends, Brent founded Ryders Eyewear. Brent’s original vision has since been integrated into the design, pricing and performance of every pair of our sunglasses.

Our sunglasses are about performance, your performance. We pack the glasses with as many features as we can; features that will benefit you and help boost your performance. Things like optically correct lenses that reduce eye strain and anti-slip parts that allow you to think about the trail ahead instead of how to keep your glasses on your face.
