In 1964, our founder, Jorge Saavedra came to the United States from his native Colombia. As an avid cyclist he recognized the need for an American made, high quality cycling cap. More importantly he wanted to make a cap that could be customized. He made caps for shops, teams and races in small numbers and delivered most of them personally. However, things really took off when Jorge began making caps for Campagnolo.
In 1980 we began to supplement our successful accessories line with road shorts and jerseys. For over three decades we have produced a complete line of Pace technical clothing and accessories as well as custom team and private label programs.
Jorge continues to be 100% dedicated to cycling. He has retired and is living happily in Colombia where he can train on the Andes mountains. Maria Marsh, Jorge's daughter and our President, now runs the company.
