We’re focused on innovation and driven by technology. That rolls off the tongue pretty easily and you’ll find it on a million corporate websites, annual reports and all kinds of prospectus. Yet few companies can back it up they way we can. Our founder began manufacturing arrows from aluminium instead of the material of choice for thousands of years, cedar wood, in 1939. Ever since that tradition wrecking moment, we’ve really, actually been a company focused on innovation and driven by technology. Really. Need more proof? We literally rolled out the industry-leading Hyperlite handlebar in the late 1980’s. Thanks to over 50 years experience in working with aluminium, we knew how to make a bar that weighed much less than anything else on the market, but was also much stronger. Sure, competitors tried to copy; none were successful. After feeling as though we’d done our thing with alloy, we moved into composite materials like carbon fiber. It wasn’t long before we started to show results there too. A carbon bar that weighed less than anything we’d ever done in aluminium and still met our stringent standards for testing; light and incredibly stiff carbon forks; composite frame tubing that proved to the best in nothing short of the Tour de France. We’re not afraid to say we’re focused on innovation and driven by technology. Even if you’ve never seen one of the trailblazing products we’ve made, we know there’s more around the corner and we think those will break new ground too.
