APX Bike Parts & Accessories

APX is a maker of sport hydration drinks. A small manufactory based in San Diego, California, in the US, APX offers a simple line of hydration powders, branded bike accessories and clothing, and most recently a recovery mix.

Started in 2005, founders Jeff, an avid cyclist, and Lisa, a competitive runner, began APX after a friend was diagnosed with leukemia. Lisa's involvement with the charitable foundation inspired the couple to contribute on a larger scale; this combined with the two athletes' desire for an all-natural hydration drink, and APX was born. The company donates 100% of its profits to charity. Beneficiaries include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Diabetes Association, the Challenged Athletes Foundation, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, among many.

APX's products are focused on hydration. The primary product is the hydration mix, now matched with a post-ride recovery mix. Swag offered is all for the bike, including riding togs, a water bottle, and a tee, alternatives for donor cyclists with a loyalty to another drink.
