Marin’s Nicasio series is for the rider looking for something different and modern, yet with traditional steel construction. Classic lines and butted 4130 CrMo tubing have the soul of a classic bike, but with the wheels and geometry to let riders handle any roads, paths and trails.
New for 2020 is the Nicasio+, taking the platform in a new direction. Spec’d with “Road Plus” wheels with 650B x 47mm tires for a fast rolling bike, comfortable and capable on most any surface.
Wide-range 1x9 11-46t gearing simplifies setup and maintenance, while the clutch-equipped derailleur and front chainring with narrow-wide teeth aid in chain retention when the going gets a bit rough. Mechanical disc brakes, rack and fender mounts, and up to three bottle mounts help make the Nicasio+ an excellent choice for commuting, light touring, or as a foul weather bike.
